On my commute in a few minutes ago, I saw a white BMW Gran Coupe up ahead. It looked a little lower and squatter with fatter tires than a typical one, so I figured it might be a M6. Well, I was wrong.

Apparently it was a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! - I honestly didn’t even know these were a thing. Once I got up close I saw the big ALPINA lettering on the back and the classic Alpina wheels. Guy behind the wheel was driving it like an old lady, so I didn’t get a chance to hear it or see how quick it went.

Looked exactly like this one:

Same! It looked a little unremarkable in white.

Kinja'd!!!

If you ask me, the 6GC is the only current BMW that actually looks good as opposed to just striking.

Alpina wheels make me feel funny inside.

First one I saw, it was the many spoked wheels that caught my attention, then the long low body lines... followed by my voice, repeating “there’s no such thing as a BMW B6...” while I pinched my arm to help me wake up. That was years ago and I know better now, but it’s still an amazing sight when you see one in the wild!
